In the heart of Ukraine, where war and destruction cast a shadow over lives, women and children continue to fight. These days, the sound of explosions and sirens in Kyiv has become a daily reality. What is even more concerning is the impact of this crisis on the psyche and emotions of people, especially women and children.

Bitter Experiences and Desperate Hopes

History bears witness to great suffering. My grandmother was only 17 years old when the Nazis attacked her village during World War II. She barely survived while hiding in a small attic room. However, in the end, she was forced to work on farms and was transferred to Germany. She bravely escaped and returned home, but these bitter experiences are still alive in memories.

Today, Ukrainian women and girls face the fear and terror of airstrikes. A friend in Kyiv told me that her hands start shaking during air raids. This reflects the deep stress and fear among the people. They have somehow become ambassadors of collective emotions and fears.

Love Amidst Horror

Despite the challenges that war brings, love and solidarity among the people of Ukraine remain strong. Women, despite the hardships, strive to maintain their affection and tenderness. The fact that they continue to show love for one another even in critical conditions demonstrates the strength of the human spirit.

As a writer and playwright, I strive to portray the stories of these women and children. Every story told is a step forward in preserving hope and love in our hearts. In these circumstances, we cannot allow suffering to take away our tenderness.
